Been doodling, and thinking about what knife projects to tackle next.

I'm curious; looking at these drawings, what potential do these profiles have? How would you use them? What steel would you choose? How thick? What kind of grind?

Edit: the paper is 8 1/2 X 11". The longest blade is 3 5/8". The shortest is 3".

Thank you for any feedback.

My personal favorite is the one on the lower right, just because it looks the most versatile.

What's weird is sometimes I take a picture of something, and it looks different in the picture than I thought it looked. That drawing on the top - right, for example. The blade looks disproportionately long compared to the handle.

First lower right. Second the one on purple paper.
Steel could be almost anything D2 is great, nothing wrong with 1095. I might go with S35VN I have been wanting to try it& with a smaller blade you want edge retention.
Handle , how about some nice wood like Osage.
Thickness go with 3/32". No more then 1/8".
I like flat grind but saber would be good also.
Leather sheath made for vertical or horizontal carry.

Thanks for the ideas, everybody. I have never used osage orange. It's always exciting to work with new materials.

Now if I can just finish up the blades that are already on my bench. :-)

I like the design on the bottom right the best and I also like the one on the purple paper, would probably be a good utility knife.

I like the drop point design of the lower right picture. One preference I have for knives of that size is for the handle slabs to be flat-ish and strongly textured, to counter-act the tendency of small knives to 'roll' in the hand.
