Hey all,

not sure if this is a good question but I have just finished up a project ad find myself with some time to finally get o making a sheath for a JK custom I've had for a few weeks. But thinking about it I'm kinda stuck for ideas, I'm a pretty basic sheath maker and what I've managed to cobble together isn't what you'd call professional but I enjoy it and have tried horizontal, regular belt and dangler's. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone had some suggestions for what kind of interesting shape for this knife.

Wanting to try something a little different maybe but feeling a small creative slump coming on the design front so thought I'd ask the experts :).

My materials are limited: leather, good thread, needles, awl, some other basic hand/power tools etc

Knife spcecs:
Michigan Trail Knife (jds1 design)
8" oal,
3 3/4" blade,
1/8" thick
Walnut scales

Here is the actual knife:

I'd appreciate any suggestions, thanks

Personally, I'd go with a veg tanned leather about 8-9 oz in a universal type sheath. You know, the ones that can be carried horizontal or vertical. Like this one. (2nd one down)

Thanks guys I made one already but decided it wasn't going to be it's main home, might try one of these although I can't do kydex, thanks
