I would like to see a double knife 100 series set with a nice USA sheath. Personally I think the 117/103 combo would fit any big game hunters need. Or a 102/118 set. No preference on steel choice, but would like to see actual wood handles in ironwood or rosewood. I think it would be a hot seller. And anyone at BUCK factory listening feel free to send me the 1st one made for a great idea.lol

Your second photo shows something about the 102 that I've wondered about for a long time. When did the 102 shape change from a straight line of the blade and handle to a bit of an angle between the blade and handle? I think it may have been sometime in the 1970s, but I can't pinpoint the year of the change.

A 118/103 or 117/103 combo would be nice. The price might be pretty high for a double though.

A 118 on its own would be great too.

In either case, higher end stainless steel, no cerakote, no large blade etchings. Buffalo and ivory micarta spacers would be a nice handle material. Or even better, ram's horn.

Yea I wouldn’t want it to overly priced. H420 would be fine.

That angle has kept me from buying a 102. It might give a little more working room in a few circumstances, but it just looks wrong.

I'd like to see it. And I probably would get it if my checkbook didn't complain. But I fear it would be too costly all at once for some people, maybe including myself.

I really feel the BOTM should really be special as far as handle material goes. Why buy something ordinary? For a folder make it bareheadd at least and for fixed blades something not usually available for that model. Burl or any kind of horn for example. ANYTHING different even unusual..Is there some Ramshorn or Palm or odd wood back in old inventory? I know I'm not the only collector who likes odd and unusual variations and will step up for it. It will also help secondary values.
