Okay, the rule here is that the knife should be a combination of one or more features of current knives, including something which will make it fun to play with and set it apart. However, it must be practical, and should be an advancement.
My first example will be a combination of Camillus's neat-o opening mechanism from their CUDA series, with the Benchmade 730 Axis lock and handle design, and offered with several different blade choices, including (but not limited to) the same blade as the 730, a recurve like the 750 09 710, a serrated hook-type blade for rescue workers, and a Wharncliffe, too. With those different choices, I can have one in each hand, and still have an excuse, 'cause they aren't two identical knives. Of course, the handles will be offered in several different color choices (but keep the layered effect, to make it less run-of-the-mill), the blade will be CPM420V, and the liners will be Ti.
So, this is like one of those 'invent a knife' threads, but the knife has to have a gimmick to make it fun and different (the CUDA's opening mechanism, in this case).
Go wild!
