Ideas for new knife purchase

I am looking to buy a new knife to add to my collection and was hoping to get some ideas to help get me pointed in the right direction. Some of the things I am looking for:

1: I tend to prefer overbuilt tank-like knives, I and learn towards flippers. I have a few ZT knives, an ADV Tac Butcher, and a Mikkel Willumsen Maddox already.

2: I am working with around $600 or so. Give or take a bit if I see something I must have.

3: I can be a bit picky about minor details. My Rockstead and Sebenza have me a bit spoiled when it comes to quality builds.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Try to get on the Direware books. Longer than 1 yr wait but it might be right up your alley.

I look the looks of some of the Direware models, but most are a little more than I'd be willing to spend without seeing one first. Waiting a year doesn't really suit me, either. Thanks though.

heres a few off the top of my head

Jake Hoback Kwaiback Mid-tech
Pohan Leu Bluephin
Ramon Chaves Redencion 228 mid-tech (not a flipper, but an absolute beastly knife)
Tim Curry Myrmadon XXL

Well, if you prefer overbuilt flippers, maybe it's time to broaden your horizons.

A nice, slim lightweight Gents folder might be in the offing for you. You might find a new favorite.

Maybe a Lancet Vanguard or a Spearpoint Atlas.

Thanks! I'll check them out.

Hinderer!

I have considered an XM-18, but I kinda prefer the XM-24 and they are a bit over what I wanted to pay.

I have some smaller knives, I have just been drawn to the overbuilt ones lately. Not going to get a lightweight knife this time.
