Ideas on generating some cash for BF, and members for AKTI.

I think that Blade Forums should offer a package deal including, AKTI Ambassador membership for one year, a Blade Forums.com T-Shirt, maybe a raffle entry, and a special Blade Forums membership status to be listed in the left column with the name along with the AKTI membership status and membership #. Sounds cool eh?

Possible? Worthwhile? Good idea? Bad? What do you think?

Maybe Darrel Ralph could make a few more (special) folders and either auction them off, or sell them at a fixed price and offer a "free" ATKI membership, and a "bigger" portion of the funds go to Blade Forums. I dunno...just a thought. Maybe all the smaller (or larger) makers of misc. knife related products, could collaborate on one or two folders / FB's or maybe even one of each as a set, to be auctioned right here in the general area. I'm sure many of them would donate a small part of the process or maybe charge a super small amount. I wish I could, but all I can do is assemble.

I would consider paying $20.00 dollars a year to renew my AKTI Membership through the BladeForums.com Store. That would give BladeForums $5.00 per membership and make it even easier for BladeForums Members to join AKTI.

I would like to see the BF store carry some knife making supplies.After finding some hardware at lowes for one third the price of one of the suppliers I ordered from, I found out I was being robbed blind. I'd rather see the money go to the BF. It'd be really nice to get the stuff I need without having to go a different site also.I can't get everything at lowes.
