Ideas/Tips/Techniques for Kydex sheath with large guard?

Finished my first attempt at a knife with a guard. However I want to make a kydex sheath for it but I cant think of a way to have a secure yet easy removal and insertion of the blade into the sheath.

Any ideas?

go onto youtube and look up gavkoo watch his first kydex tutorial with the kabar warthog it should help alot.

Could always make a starp that snap out of leather or some type of cord that ties around the handle.
