Ideas?????

i'm looking for a quality USA made knife i'm looking for a flat ground high carbon steel with a 4" drop point blade, with a full tang and has a 4" handle made of maple, shaped slabs kinda like the woodlore knife of ray mears any ideas
and i'm willing to pay for quality

How much are you willing to spend? You may want to check custom makers such as Mike Snody, Bob Dozier or Scott Cook.

i don't know i plan to use this knife and i don't want to spend more then i need to but 200??? is that to much or too little

Well, for a custom it is not much. Check out Bark River knives, Northstar or Fox River models both are A-2 high carbon tool steel, with about 4" blades, can be had with maple handles for less than $200.
