Identification Help Please

Trying to identify this beauty, Damascus steel blade with some sort of bone (maybe ivory?) and the only stamp I can find is “MANDT”
No clue of year, where purchased etc. part of my father’s massive collection handed down. Thank you in advance to anyone can assist

Don't thank me until you can verify that he's the maker! There's a German "Mandt" as well. They seem like mostly tableware, so it's a safe bet. But not a sure one.
