Hello all,

I was given the following knife as a gift and neither me nor the previous owner could find a makers mark. It belonged to my fiend’s grandfather who was a collector, and unfortunately my friend didn’t get a change to hear the story behind it. I’m of course super curious about it as it’s a really beautiful knife. Any help would be great! Thanks!

It's a variation of this knife.

These are made in Pakistan, sold in a variety of handle materials. Some with bottom bolsters, some without. Usually with filework along the tangs. Some (like the one in the pic I provided) are branded and sold in fancy packaging to give the impression of being of high value, which is not an uncommon occurrence with cheap "Damascus" knives made in Pakistan. Several variations can be found on Amazon (where I knew I had seen them), Ebay, and no doubt elsewhere on the internet.
