i posted this thread on the link above, i'm new to this forum and have little knowlidge on indentification of knives or maintainence . I got this knive from my father about 30 years ago i kept it for memory . it is a little bowie with deer bone handle with black and maroon stuff enplaited between copper plates and a copper bladeguard. The blade original had letters and an icon on it . As i recall it had an icon shaped like an old paperstamp for drying inc or an old shizel with an end in a steelballl like shape .http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=DDPLFHFT
