Identify Knife

Hello all,

Apologies if this is the wrong area to post this, I've just joined today so not familiar with the location of topics.

I have a knife I am looking to identify and get information on such as type, what era it was made in, manufacturer and any information really. It's been in my family for some time and I have been looking at it through a 10x jewellers loupe to see if there are any markings however I have been unsuccessful in identifying them.

Gotta be honest, it looks like a souvenir knife. Something that someone picked up on vacation for not a lot of money to be brought home and either displayed or pulled out once in awhile while retelling stories.

It looks a lot like a "gaucho knife" from Argentina, or something substantially similar. No clue on maker, though.
