We don't get a lot of snow here in Georgia, but got a little bit yesterday, and this morning I saw some bird tracks in the snow on my driveway. I was wondering if any of you folks could identify what critter made these tracks.

Its definitely a bird, but its hard to reference their size, how long was each print? 1",2"?

Sparrow.... house-sparrow to be exact... 1.5 yrs old.... female... just ate but stomach is not full yet... missing a feather from it's right wing... horney as hell, too.... the little minx.

Slacker. You missed that the right leg is .75 mm longer than the left. Probably a birth defect.

:p

It's either a quail, or something else. Could be Big Bird from Sesame Street, too ... I'm just not sure. It's not an elephant though. I'm pretty sure of that ... I think.

LMAO, That was tooo funny.:D

I should have thought to include the size of the tracks. I took some more pictures but in these the tracks didn't show up as well. There appear to be three different sizes all together. Ranging from about 1.5" to 2".

I think Robin and Sparrow are both good guesses, thanks.

Here's another track I was able to identify myself. It's a re-shod Toyota Tacoma.;) Thanks for your help.

Well, now that we see the size comparison with the ruler, I guess we can rule out Big Bird.

Too bad: that was my best guess.

Redacted. I said sparrow, but the tracks with the ruler are a bit big. Also, there is the off-foot placement that this could be a robin. Robins don't always hop, and they hop differently from sparrows since they pause and "listen" with their feet.
