Hi all. I recently got this holster from a friend I work with. It fits my Glock 19 nicely. The barrel does stick out a little. I dont know if that is normal but it doesnt really bother me. One thing I am concerned about is that when I unholster the gun, the front sight seems to catch a little and I have to pull it a little harder to get the gun out. How durable is the factory Glock front sight? Do you think it will rip off or come loose?

GLOCK is stamped on the holster and the holster rides on the belt OWB. If someone can post a link as to where I can see this holster listed, that would be great. Or even a model number anything :D

Thanks. Sorry for the crappy pics.

Sorry but thats one I have not seen before. You should be ok with the front sight, as from my experience, they are pretty tough. You could put something on the inside lip to help the gun slip past the catch point. Cool holster though.

I took a handgun course last summer, and the entire training staff were using Glocks. They said that the one weak point of the standard Glock is the plastic front sight. We actually had a guy in the class knock the front sight off of his during some one-handed drill. It's one of those things that will "probably" be alright. You just have to decide if you're comfortable with "probably".

Looks like it might be a holster for a 26, or one of the other short Glocks. It would probably be fine to carry your 19 in that, but I don't think I would personally. The front sights are just press-fit in there.
