Its pretty far gone. EverKeen maybe? Where did you get it from?

Or maybe that is a side ways Belknap....

Great score Brandon! Fantastic patina on that handle, hope it holds up well for you.

Thank you friend. When i got the axe the handle was sticky in places, and would fall from the head. I believe it had been soaked in motor oil maybe? But the years had turned the oil into like a tar on just the outside, but the inside was dry as powder. I sanded the haft down just enough to get rid of the sticky residue, mounted the head back on with a new wedge and a couple metal ones, then gave the whole axe a good soak in blo for 48 hours.
I used it splitting some wood yesterday, about a half cord, and it worked perfectly. Think its gonna be my single bit user.

After research I'm almost positive its Belknap...
Thank you operator!

This variation of the Bluegrass logo looks like an exact match:

Note the Belknap written in script (not block letters), the "hourglass" in the middle, and the words TRADE and MARK (all somewhat visible on the axe).

Thank you Steve! May i steal that pic from you? That gave me 100% confidence that my axe is a Belknap.
