I recently found this hatchet on flea merket. Looked after the logo on several sites but found nothig. Clearly not made in Hungary where I live. Old import tools in this region are mainly made in Germany or CCCP but I don't think it's one of those. So please help identify the maker.

This tool of yours has 'been around the block' a few times and is not like the ones I've seen in Canada. Subtle but a toe that projects would never have sold well in Ottawa, Ontario. Interesting that there are so many regional variations in choice of design.

I think I have seen this stamp before. As long as I remember these axes were used by Hungarian foresters and were imported from Romania. They are said to be quality tools... But I'm not 100% sure in that.

It could be correct. And seemed to be really hard steel as I tried to file it.
Thanks!
