Ok, so i recently purchased some multi-tools and knifes in bulk and between some leathermans and victorinox i found a benchmade knife which I can't find anywhere. Can anyone help me out identifying it ? Here are some pics:

Looks wrong.

Benchmade puts the model number of the knife under the butterfly just before the "USA". It's not there on this one.

Maybe someone else can correct me but this looks like a counterfeit to me. Sorry.

That is most definitely a counterfeit knife. Hope you didn't drop a lot of coin on that thing. We have a thread in the Benchmade forum, specifically for these.

Some earlier Benchmade models didn't have a model number next to the USA, however this one looks fishy to me too. Bench made doesn't usually, if ever, stray from a set few styles of clips. This one looks a little wonky to me. I may be completely wrong too but I think it's a counterfeit as well.

Such a shame :( it dosen't feel cheap ... and all parts are perfect... the blade looks made of high quality steel .. i have a lot of doubts... maybe more people can look into it? I have read that older models of bechmade don't have a serial or anything else but the logo. Also, all the other tools are 100% authentic... (a few charge tti and swisstools) that's why i have doubts

What size is blade?
Anyway I like it, good looking form following function!
I personally wouldn't care if it's real or fake, as long as I didn't pay more than $50 for it, if it's good quality I would just enjoy using it!
I have both real BM which are mostly light use and some good quality Chines/Taiwanese EDC versions of CQC-7 and Strykers which I enjoy using and abusing!

I'm going to have to go with this being a fake as well. I immediately thought it was fake when I spotted where the butterfly was, and the clip style. That clip is a very popular style for cheap Chinese knockoffs,

It don't look right, the finish is off and the inserts in the scale don't look familiar either.

I'm sooo disapointed I was not able to spot this fake. The fact that I bought a lot of really good multitools @ a very good price and this knife turned out cheap, it made me dizzy hehe... Also, I don't think I ever kept an original benchmade in my hands... I didn't understood why one costs soo much but I guess that once you have one in your hands and feel it... heh you know why.

The confirmation of the fake:
