I found this on the road. Even though it had obvious been run over many times with the blade exposed, the edge had only this slightest nicks in it, which I easily sharpened out. I figured it deserved rescuing, and given the toughness of the blade I've been using it for the nastier jobs around the house. The inlaid plastic says, "Wolverine premium cutting tools." On the opposite side the blade is stamped with RRS. I can't find any information on this folder. Does anyone know anything about a Wolverine company here, and what the blade material is?[

My guess would be a promotional knife, probably for a company that no longer exists (as I can't find any with that logo).

And based on the use of Philips head screws I'd say Chinese in origin.

Also, to my eyes the marking on the blade looks like either RRO, or PRO.

Looks like a promotional knife for them. Definitely made in the PRC or similar. Still, a free knife is a free knife.

OK I understand the lingo now, RRC is Red River Cutlery. I'll contact them for further info, and thanks a lot to all.
