Just a little something I worked on while waiting for my steel to get back from surfacing.
Double hollow ground.
>> Blade is 6 3/4" measured >> 2000grit finish on the highlights. Damascus guard with Walnut burl handle
>> finished in hand rubbed Danish oil. May be headed overseas soon!





 
Love it. May I ask what the blade steel is? And how you did that great etching?

Blade steel is good old 5160 with a 2000grit and combination handrub polish on the highlights.
Etching technique is mine
This one is still looking for a home as soon as the sheath arrives from Blackhawk:D
 
That is killer looking.. And I really don't like fixed blades.. But this would be fisrt on my want list!!:eek: :thumbup:
