IE7 Browser Problems?

Is there a problem with posting pictures in a thread using IE7? I've always done it in Firefox with no issues. When I PASTE my link into the the using IE7, the string wraps onto two lines, rather than stay on one line in the typing window. If I try to PREVIEW or SUBMIT, all of the text in my post after about 4 characters gets chopped off and I get an error message saying my post is to short. Only my girlfriend should be able to tell me that!

I use Hunt 101 as my photohosting site, and have for a long time.

Anyone else had this issue?

One of those wierd computer issues. I can make it work. Seems to be an issue with how my photo hosting site does the code. Photobucket doesn't have the same issue. I'll explain it if anyone gives a rats $#@!

Yes, please explain. It's unlikely you're the only one who will ever encounter that problem.

For the sake of troubleshooting, in these examples, I replaced url with orl, and img with imq, so they won't execute.

In FireFox, this code string stays on one line (like the one directly below) in the typing window when I paste my code, and a scroll bar appears along the bottom of this window where I am typing.

[orl="[URL="http://www.hunt101.com/?p=496984&c=500&z=1%22%5D%5Bimg%5Dhttp://www.hunt101.com/img/496984.JPG%5B/img%5D%5B/url"]http://www.hunt101.com/?p=496984&c=500&z=1"][imq]http://www.hunt101.com/img/496984.JPG[/imq][/orl[/URL]]

With IE7, the code string takes up two lines (like the one below) and no scroll bar appears at the bottom of the typing window.

[orl="http://www.hunt101.com/?p=496984&c=500&z=1"][imq]
http://www.hunt101.com/img/496984.JPG[/img][/orl]

If I try to preview or submit the bottom string I get this:
[url="

Everything else disappears from after the quote mark leaving only 6 characters, and I get an error saying my message is too short.

If I paste again and delete some of the code so it says this:
[imq]http://www.hunt101.com/img/496984.JPG[/img]

It works fine??? Bear in mind Photobucket works in both programs.

Hope this explanation makes sense. My solution is to use Photobucket if I want to use IE7.

Here's the sample pic.

Just a WAG, but try it without the " mark. Dynamic URLs wit = in them may not work either, you might want to try a TinyURL instead

The WAG is correct. Taking out only the " marks within the URL section works. Easier to do than my fix. I would upgrade your recommendation to SWAG!

Thanks
