i just got back from the knife show in Oak Lawn, and if anyone is interested, i saw one of the dealers there had a busse e handle, a busse basic 3 and and a basic 9. i dont recall the price on the e handle ( i think it was $300 ), but the 3 was $200 and the 9 was about $240. cool thing about the basic was that they both had original boxes and the 9 had both sheaths.

Can you tell me more about the knife show? I live only a couple miles from Oak Lawn but hadn't heard anything about a knife show. I guess I live under a rock or something. Any details on the where and when would be appreciated? Are all types of knives represented?

Edit: I did a google search and found it. I'll be there tomorrow. Thanks for mentioning it!

just dont expect too much of the show. i got the skinny on what happened with it. it used to be a great show, but last year they split the show in half and made the custom show every year on the weekend before. so, this show is pretty slim, but there are some cool things here and there. a lot of slip joints and war pieces (even a v42!), but there is still a little "tactical" to choose from.

Seems high on the B3. Unless market has really escalated on it.

Have fun guys...

yeah, i thought the B3 was pretty high as well, but the basics were definitely worth checking out. ive got some catching up to do with bills, so they werent even an option for me. :grumpy:
