Andy Prisco
What can I say, but what a great person! He is definitely one of the nicest people I have ever met. As far as I am concerned we will be friends for a long time as well as keep a business relationship. If any of you guys who have Andy as a rep and you are ever in the area, call him up and meet Andy! What a nice man. I had the opportunity to get to meet Andy, go shoot some bow with him, have lunch, test out my Busse knives with Andy and smoke some cigars! I also had the extreme pleasure of meeting his wife. She was such a nice person! He even went as far as to call me up this morning to ask if I had a good time.
Let me tell you guys and gals about some of his bow skills. First we met and had a cup a coffee and grabbed a couple of cigars. Then he took me to this awesome outdoor range somewhere in Mahwah N.J. Its an outdoor range were you follow a trail and stop every few feet or so and shoot at a bail of hay at random distances. It was outdoors, it was a beautiful day and we just had a great time.
Now check this out. Andy shoots with a beautiful traditional bow, no sights, both eyes open, and no release. The only thing modern about his whole setup was the carbon arrow he was shooting for the first time. He could hit a dime at practically any distance. He is amazing. Andy kept on giving me tips and I just got better and better and more confident! I shoot a compound bow and was nervous to shoot at 65 yards so I told Andy dont laugh if I missed. Well he talked to me like a gentlemen and gave me some instruction and BANG! Right on the paper! I was happy.
Point is Andy is a true gentleman. Andy did every thing he could to make me feel comfortable.
BTW, after we shot the bow and had lunch, we tested out some of my Busse knives. We picked up some various ropes and webbing and sliced, diced, chopped, hacked and cut. The performance was outstanding even after we hacked and chopped tree bark, limbs, saplings, and pried one of my arrows out of the wood frame that was holding the bail of hay. It was great and we had a great time.
If any of you have the opportunity to meet Andy, take the time to know this man because you will be in good hands. I was.
All the best!
