try here.

2 HP, 1800 RPM MARATHON Motor, 3/60/208/230/460, Totally Enclosed, Frame 145T. Suitable for inverter duty 10:1 constant torque. 2 HP $385.00

it looks like it comes with the variable speed controller and motor.

i know, its not CHEAP, but its pretty inexpensive. the 1800 rpm might need to be sped up though.

Hi group, let me just back up SkaerE's post (BTW, what's your real name SkaerE?) by saying that I have two of these setups from Dealers Electric. One of them is a 2 h.p. setup as he posted that I recently put on my KMG1 and the other is a 1 h.p. setup with a 56HC frame I bought for my horizontal edge grinder I pick up next weekend. I am very impressed with this drive and motor. I can get the belt moving at a very low speed (low sfpm) and lean into the belt with some steel pretty hard to the point where the belt stops moving due to the pressure but the drive wheel is still turning! I've tightened the belt pretty darn tight in trying this test too! Constant torque is a very good thing. This motor/controller is an excellent deal in my opinion and any other equipment I need to change to variable speed will get one of these in the future. The speed range can be adjusted either through the controller or by changing the size of the sheaves between the motor shaft and drive wheel. The link SkaerE posted above is for their internet special which comes with a 145T frame, which is no problem if you don't need to direct couple your motor. If you do, and need a 56C frame, they have them too but they are ~$50 more, still a good deal in comparison to variable speed DC motors (other than the open enclosure treadmill types). Anyway, I have no affiliation with this company, just a satisfied customer, in fact I learned of them through a post on here a few months back.
