You know, I don't even know if the is the right forum, as I've seen many a locked (and presumably, moved) thread lately. In any case, as we approach Halloween, one gets to thinking about all the silly costumes kids will wear to obtain the glucose-overloaded, cavity-inducing, hyperactivity morsels that we craved (and maybe still do) as children. Then you get around to thinking of all the parties that adults have, and you wonder, "Man, that guy's Darth Vader suit looks REAL. I wonder where he got the stuff to make it?"
In keeping w/ this "inner child" spirit so typical of the Halloween season, and blending it w/ our own admitted obsession w/ cutlery and its related accessories I ask you this: If Batman really existed or better yet, if YOU were Batman, would you use Kydex to holster all your gadgets? Would you purchase from Bladerigger, maybe set up an account that allowed all your designs to take priority at Piorek's shop? Maybe get Chiro75 to make some custom sheaths for you (of course, after he found out your identity, you'd have to...deal w/ him. Smile, Chiro!) What kind of steel would you use for your weapons? What materials would your utility belt be made of? Keep in mind, you're Bruce Wayne, and no expense shall be spared. Do your own heat treating? Use the non-magnetic pheno-resin that Newt's NRG's made of? Buy paracord by the mile to braid your Bat-Grapple's? It's kind of a fun question, so let me hear your ideas, as I'm quite interested to hear them.
