If BK&T made a folder...

For those who EDC Becker blades would you keep EDC'ing a fixed blade or switch to a Becker folder if one is ever made?

I'd say I'll probably keep EDC'ing my 14 in most cases but a Becker folder would be nice for less laid back areas.
 
I prefer a fixed blade AND a folder. It would have to be something awfully special to get me off of my current lineup though.
 
Hehehe, this topic again.

A BK&T folder would be cool, but it seems the most commonly requested thing is a BK2 folder. That ain't no EDC for me.
It's hard for me to imagine an actually practical BK&T folder that references the current line-up, so I think it would have to be something totally new from Ethan's head. Made in the USA, made by Ka-Bar? Stainless, but NOT 440? Yeah, I might take that bait. It would be nice to replace my outsourced folder.

I carry folder and fixed all the time.

Some serious steel too, ZT0303 and a BK14, yup. Sometimes a big ass fixed blade, HD folder, and a SAK.

I, Moose, am a knife nut, and carry much too many knives all the time. I know I have a problem, and I don't really care to deal with it. I prefer to just buy better belts. They are easier to deal with than the thought of carrying less knives.

I've had to start wearing my riggers belt all the time to better accommodate my knives (all my leather belts have a sag in them). I would want to see something like a Eskabar or Necker folder (mabey even a better stainless remora option) Heck even a smaller bk-15 styled folder would be cool.

Honestly, I have no desire for a Becker folder. If Ethan and Ka-Bar were to design and manufacture a folder, it would take up enough time, effort, money, and resources to design and make 2 or 3 new fixed blade designs. I'd rather have the 2 or 3 new fixed blade models.

Yup ZT301 , but I would definitely carry a BK&T folder. I currently carry a fixed blade along with a folder and a Leatherman.

Agreed, I wear a belt for my pants and a duty belt for my gear, I can't edc a fixed blade here, but I have my cold steel ak-47 and my sog flash1 and my Leatherman Surge, along with a flashlight. I'd love see what Ethan would come up with if he were to design a folder though.
 
I stopped carrying folders when I started carrying beckers. But I do carry a leatherman. Right now; still wearing work clothes I have 4 knives ands a leatherman on me :D

I don't care what they say. I have a problem to and they can just deal with it!

I'm thinking, if Ethan were to design a folding knife, it would be a mix between an Emerson, Hinderer, Sebanza, and Chuck Norris.

What problem is that?????

I EDC 2 folders, Buck Alpha Dorado and a Manix, and a Vic Swiss Spirit, and sometimes, also a Benchmade AFCK - glad I don't have a problem. :D Also, on the belt: Fox 40, Doan mag block, Fenix L2D - that's why I have to wear suspenders, otherwise a lot of women would be leaving their husbands. :D

Yep, I don't see any problem. I carry an HTM Gun Hammer in M390, a damascus EDC of my own design, and a SAK on my keychain. At minimum. Sometimes the BK11 or BR Bravo Necker 2 make it into my rotation, along with the Leatherman and/or the Benchmade Rift. And that's if I'm not carrying a BIG knife openly.

Actually it was decided that the official BH folder is the Vic Farmer :D

If Ethan designed a folder I'd imagine it to be along the same lines as the Ontario Rat-1; high value heavy duty no excessive frills with plenty of function and toughness. I'd buy 2.
