If i brake my Sog throwing it, is it under warranty?

If i throw Sog's tactical tomahawk and it brakes, is that covered under warranty?

I think that address the warranty info for their knives. They don't state if throwing a tomahawk counts as abuse or not.

might as well give them a call in the morning. it's worth a shot. i would tend to doubt it for that kind of .break.

I just emailed them. It will most likely come under misuse or abuse, however i've heard stories of other people getting theirs replaced free of charge. And is it just me or has their customer service seriously improved? About two years ago i ordered a pocket clip and never got one. Last week i decided to try again and got one in three days.

For anyone else wondering the same thing, SOG emailed back and said that braking the tomahawk by throwing is under the warranty, so they will replace it for free.

Sweet it is great you asked cuz i would assumed they would have considered it as abuse.That is partly why i recommended an sog tomahawk to my friend.
