if I buy a Khukuri will customs persecute me?????

I live in Northern Ireland and just want to know that if I purchase a Khukrui will customs wack me with more bills???

I'm not sure about Ireland, Pootsy. However, I know that several people from countries less than eager to import "weapons" have had the package marked "farm equipment" or some such thing. I mean, after all, you're not bringing in a giant serrated "tactical" knife. A khuk, while large, is right at home on any farm or in any garden;)

50/50 chance in UK usualy for most people, most of time, sadley they generaly hit me harder, except near christmas when they are to busy. some you win some you lose.

tax based on insaurance value + postage irrelevant of gift or use status.

thanks i love that image the long duster coat and my outback hat with the croc leather bad and croc teeth and the nice big o katana under my coat :D. I wish I was alive in the 1830s. :D
 
The knife was $5, but handling charges were $100-ish.

I mean, it's just an old piece of spring steel that someone heated up and hit with a hammer, right?
