I've been watching the TV coverage of the new year around the world and I am not seeing a lot of problems. I think it will be the same here. But, if you don't see me posting tomorrow you'll know that something went down in Reno.

hehehhe.Y2K isn't even enough to give you a day off Bro.

I doubt there will be too many problems except perhaps with some crazies out there.

Sometimes the really extreme survivalests scare me more than any thing I would have to be prepared for does.

I will be around a bit also if the pthers let me get on the TV.We rented 6 movies for tonight and tomorrow and I know I ain't watchin em all.

If you mix milk of magnesia with vodka and orange juice do you get a phillips screwdriver?

Khukuri FAQ

hello forumites - how's everything down there? I was working at office when 1999 ended and 2000 started ... it seems everything is OK down here at KL ... small prob on date conversion routine is manageable!

With about 23 minutes to go til midnite eastern time ( 9 PM for me on the west coast ) Europe doesn't seem to be having any real problems. I would hate to have my computer crash and not be able to talk to my brothers in Malaysia, Australia, and all over the world, though. Best wishes to all if you don't hear from me tomorrow.

The sword of Charlemagne the Just is ferric oxide, known as rust. Great Caesar's bust is on the shelf, and I don't feel so well myself.

The only rollover I had was in bed last night. Those darn fireworks kept me tossing, turning and a bit restless. After watching the TV specials and seeing the rest of the world celebrating with no apparent Y2K problems, I decided to call it a century and go to bed early.

Got up this morning, made coffee and turned on the computer - no problemo!

I did hear that some slots machines didn't rollover and weren't accepting money for awhile!

Uncle Bill,

Hope all is well in Reno this morning!

Hope everyone else has an equally non-event Y2K beginning!

Everything seems ok out here in Hawaii. We were a little nervous because we were the last ones. How embarrassing that would have been--the rest of the world is ok and then the last state/place crashes! Well, anyway that didn't happen. Hope everybody else is ok as well. Happy new year!

Everything went over without a hitch here. My computer even rolled over without a problem.

In retrospect, it seems some people cashed in on the fear of others. Old story.

Glad to see you here and have a happy!
