If knives were music

These days I'd say:

Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 8 in B minor commonly known as the "Unfinished Symphony"

;)

My knives would be scratchy old records from the '70s (Cars, Led Zeppelin, Foghat, etc.)

Standard/Workin' models: Led Zeppelin, CCR, Johnny Cash, Hendrix, Eagles, Mountain(Mississippi Queen mostly).

Fighters: Metallica, Slipknot, Dimmu Borgir, Muse, Behemoth, Ministry.

I think mine would sound like Giuseppe Verdi's Il trovatore, especially the piece - Coro di zingari . It is from Act 2,scene 1. You probably know it better by its other name - The Anvil Chorus.

You may not have known know it had words:

"See how the clouds melt away
from the face of the sky when the sun shines, its brightness beaming;
just as a widow, discarding her black robes,
shows all her beauty in brilliance gleaming.
So, to work now!
Lift up your hammers!
Who turns the Gypsy's day from gloom to brightest sunshine?
His lovely Gypsy maid!"

Some would lean towards heavy and dramatic Verdi -La Forza del Destinies, or Holst - Mars: Bringer of War.
Others would be more lithe and subtle. Maybe Verdi's Four Seasons, Spring movement.
Each should certainly have it's own.

That is the strangest way to play a ukulele I ever saw....but surprisingly, it doesn't change the sound much :)
