Take a look at the first flipper ever produced by Spyderco. Mine came in the mail today. I pre-ordered them in the Spring when I first heard they were being produced.
This is not a review; just showing them off. But they are solid. Outstanding titanium/G10 framelock with 3.47" blade of CTS-204P...a relative super-steel with excellent wear resistance, due to the high volume fraction of vanadium-rich carbides.
It's bull-strong with titanium and G10 scales. I was going to say it has a thin handle-width; then pulled it out of my pocket and miked it at 0.530", which shocked me. It's so light @ 4.1 ounces that it's so easy to EDC. The plain-edge blade is 0.157"; a nice thick blade for strength when you need it, but a super-sharp thin edge like only Spyderco seems to have in every box.
I am so impressed. I'm happy that I bought....?? two.

Oh man. I didn't think they were out yet. What did you early adopters pay for such a fine knife?

The place I got mine is out of stock, which is probably pretty common for right now. I paid $239.95.

I got mine a few weeks ago and really like it. Haven't had the chance to really use it but it's a pretty impressive knife.

I payed $223 for mine which should be waiting for me in my mail box when I get home from work. Couldn't be more excited.

Beautiful Knives, wish I had the funds to afford such a knife at the moment :(. I love spydies, and I love flippers. Now this comes along :D

I'll probably end up with one of these eventually but not right now. It has and interesting look to it.

Does it have a strong detent like the ZT0560?

Every attempted flip I've seen is successful,.. so I'm guessing it's pretty decent.
I've got both ends of the spectrum, so I'm pretty open. I got a Hinderer that almost (but doesn't) needs a wrist flick. And I have a Shirogorov that is downright hard sometimes.. hahah
