...........Right?

:D

Here are some of the in process pictures:

The patterns are on the sides and the layed out profiles on the plate stock.

Here are the blanks after I cut them out with my plasma cutter.

Here I'm using the 3" face mill and the angle plate to do the primary bevel. That is how the three bead blasted knives were done, the black coated one was hand ground on the KMG 2" X 72" belt grinder.

Here are the blanks just before heat treat (the little triangle raised material was ground off first).

I am cutting the teeth in the HT on the mill.

Here are all the knives and the micarta handles prior to being shaped.

Yes, the four smaller ones are mine and the one larger (normal size) is the original Busse BBSHSH. There are two with a 6" blade and two with a 5 1/2" blade. The three with the black linen micarta handles have .135" thick blades and the one with the green canvas has a .25" thick blade.

You're right, 4x IS > 1x!!!

Since you mentioned in the other thread that you can't sell them, and seeing as you have so many, how about giving one away? I've love a chance to win one in a contest or something!

Nudge nudge... ;):p

I love the curved plunge on the three DC ones just like the SH1, very cool Tim.

I think that there needs to be some in hand pics to see how they fit.

And some badger attack straight handle's for comparison.

 ...I just get done checking out your other thread, and decided to take a peek at this one before leaving a comment... But now I'm just plain speechless!! All's I have to say is...

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Outstanding!

Seriously, I can't tell the difference between yours and the real Busse (size aside)! Nice... I mean, REALLY nice work there, Grinducci!! Totally impressive!! So when's jerry gonna entice you to Wauseon with a job offer??? :D

...Ok, I'm almost speechless! ;)

MUCH better!!
Pbubsy---You got Mark hooked on the Seb. Or, is that visa-versa?? :p

Wow...it just keeps getting better. What are you going to show us next:eek:

DAmn!!!!

How'd you make such a clean, perfect plunge line?

My cat has a very abrasive tongue, so I carefully placed tuna juice in a 3" circle on the blade and had him lick it off, taking metal with it!

Really, I used a 3" face mill and a angle plate on my milling machine. I have some in-process pictures I will post tonight.

LOL

Looking forward to the pics. I'm not familiar with milling, just been practicing with the belt grinder and making a pretty plunge line is beyond me for now.
