If Spyderco redid the Vaqeuro Grande...

I'd like to see two versions:

The FRN version available in PE & SE with a Boye-dented lockback, reversible wire clip and VG-10 for the blade steel. Maybe even a cobra hood.

The Titanium handled version available in PE & SE with an integral compression lock, reversible clip, cobra hood, and indexing holes like the ATR.

I can dream, can't I?

It beats the dream I had where I was asking Sal about the Spyerfly and he said it would be out in January.

I brought this up awhile back...But mine had G-10 scales with dual stainless liners, an ambidextrious pocket clip, (and VG-10 steel).

Dann, your original post is what inspired me, but I'd have to nix the steel-lined G10 in my wishlist for the choices listed above. Part of the Vaquero Grande's charm is how light it is for being a large, folding tank.

I'm keeping the dual stainless liners in MY Spyderco Vaquero Grande, as I like "heft" in a folder. (I guess that is one of the reasons why I like my Al Mar SERE 2000 and stainless Spydercos so well...Their "heft".).

So I see...

Despite being a southpaw, you enjoy the Al Mar SERE 2000 and the stainless Spyderco knives, few of which are ambi-clipped, because you are heft-handed.

I'd call you a hefty, but that's not my bag. :D

Hi Thom, I hijacked your thread, sorry. Started a new one on the subject with a clean sheet of paper. Your input would be appreciated.

You troublemakers sometimes cause models. (eg: Carlos & the SpyderFly)
