Just had a thought this morning, after reading a different thread.

Which Khukuri would each of the nine members of Tolkiens fellowship of the Ring have chosen?

I'll suggest one to start with.

Gimli, 30" AK!

I have a few other thoughts but would like to see some other input first.

Take care,

Tom

I reckon Legolas would opt for a sirupate of some description. IMO he looks like a Sirupate kinda guy!!

Sam may have a Pen knife

Frodo a BAS, perhaps a good choice fer all hobbits.

I'd put a Berk special in Aaragorn's hands, or the HI tarwar or falcatta (if not khuk specific). Mebbe also AK or WWII, more pedestrian models tho.

Boromir, Faramir, M-43s.

I'd give The riders of rohirrim any longer than 21", for use on horseback.

Legolas, kobra, GS, siru, good elf choices. Legolas might also be waay into the Movie Model or UBE.

Orcs all get rusty villager models, with GRS's with the forge scale left on for orc officers and specialists. They also get all the returns with the edge chips and such

Aragorn wouldn't have had to have his sword reforged. Uncle Bill would have replaced it.
:D :D :D Or maybe he could have just posted here and figured out how to fix it himself.

Of course, the real question is what would the Ringwraiths carry? I'm thinking horn-handled M-43's.

That would be a good choice but I think a darkened Foxy Folly on the order of mine would do well for the Ringwraiths.

And I'm thinking the CBCK or perhaps the balance models would do well for the hobbits.

An HI Kothimora for Gandalf would be nice.

The HI Janawar Katne for the Ents.
