This month's Lisa's picks. But that is not what I was thinking.

I like my Umnumzaan. I especially like the blade and the heft of the knife. It feels like you could do so real work with it in hand. I must say that the engraving does not do it for me though. What I would really like …

an Umnumzaan without the engraving, but with Micarta inlays.

A plain jane Umnumzaan would be about as good as it could get for me I think.

So many to want makes it a hard decision..........
I find myself leaning towards a Mnandi with Presentation Desert Ironwood, (Plaza Cutlery), though.
After seeing one in the Mnandi thread a while back it's now on my "want list".

a small regular sebenza with the website graphic and a blued spirograph damascus blade.

I just happen to know where you can get one of those - minus the damascus blade. PM or email (preferred) for the information.

Comment instead of direct response, in case the folks at CRK are reading. I think the idea of an inlay version of the Umnumzaan, especially the very functional Micarta inlays, is a very appealing idea. As an added plus, once the machinework is set up and the jigs and fixtures are made, it's easy to run off different colors of Micarta for variety. A burgundy red, for example, might be appealing, in addition to the customary black-gray.
