Actualy, I typically have on me a Shivworks Li'l Loco, and rotate between a Benchmade 211 Activator, A Kershaw Scallion, a Spyderco Perrin Street Bowie, or a SOG Pentagon. Soon, I will be adding either a Spyderco Street Beat, a Blackhawk Crucible, a Boker Nealy Specialist, or a Spyderco Ronin to the mix.

I also keep a Perrin SD Bracelet on my wrist, and sometimes have my Perrin SAP wallet slung over my belt.

Plus a handgun is always lurking on my body somewhere.

LEO does have some advantages in a city without guns.

Funny, though, how they have about 10 shootings a day in a city with no guns, but that's a different topic for a different thread.

I only come to your wonderful city once a year, but when I do I bring a SOG Topo Contour fixed blade and a Byrd Meadowlark with a home made wave job..both legal

Bottom line is that if you are not a jerk about carrying a knife (not implying you are a jerk)...Chicago's finest are not going to hassle you.

Now...if you are looking for trouble or got an attitude and they see a knife on you. Look out.
