If you bought an INFI hatchet...

If you bought a mint INFI hatchet, would you use her or make keep her a safe queen?

I'm all for using rare INFI, but a 1 of 3 most likely never to be reproduced hatchet??? Probably not.
 
No way. My Eastwing eats dirt too often when I'm using it to even consider it.
 
I have a custom satin Crash Rat. Not quite the same rarity and all, but I'm sure people cringed when I started beating her against a stump. :) Use em or don't buy em.

If you have intentions of keeping it then use it! All of my keepers are users. And all of my users are keepers ;)
My safe queens are just for collecting with the intention of trading or possibly selling down the road.

I got a 1 of 1 and I try and use it two or three times every week... sometime I cover it though. :cool: :thumbup:

Yeah... The Pug Warden (the Ganzaaaaa swayback bruiser GW) is destined for use and is a 1 of 1, and a few others may break me down and put 'em to work, BUT... Not any in the neighborhood of 2 grand, pricewise! LOL (which is my rough guess of around what it might fetch.) If I get a 1 of 1 directly from Busse, there's a lot higher chance it'll see use.

Actually that one is so rare that (IMO) using it would make little difference in value.

I'd totally use it....but if I paid what it would actually command being 1/3 by all means no. I'd either not buy it to begin with or sell/trade it for SHBM's. And use one of those. If it were free? I'd probably use it...then trade it for SHBM's.
 
If it were mine, I don't think I'd use it. It comes down to function. I've got a lot of big knives that can do what a thin hatchet that size can do, probably better.

If you're just into using vintage INFI (which is cool), that's a different story. Beat it silly. :thumbup:

If it filled more of a functional niche, that would be different, too. But then, I've never been much of a hatchet guy.
 
Use it, it is infi and infi is meant to be used. And I have just the project in mind....:D ;)
 
Use it, that's what it was made for, I don't see the reasoning behind letting it sit in a safe.:barf: Like Tony G said, something that rare won't be reduced in value too much by use, if at all. You could die tomorrow, so beat that bastid today!:eek:
