Ok...even though I know a lot of you lucky guys own a multitude of Hinderers, just toy with me with this one question. If you can only have ONE Hinderer, which one would you have and why? This only applies to the XM series.

Your choices are:
1. XM-18 3"
2. XM-18 3.5"
3. XM-24 4"
4. Flipper or non-flipper?

No cheating about having them all because I know many of you do have them all. Just one! Which one?

Oh hell...let's throw in which scale color too :D

Mine would be XM-18 3.5", Slicer, Green/Black scale, flipper

It is only because I own more then one that I can intelligently respond. My EDC is a Gen 4 XM 18 3.5 Spanto Flipper. That is the one to own and use. The scale on mine is textured carbon fiber. I like the pond scum and orange but will be upgrading to a textured titanium scale when able.

Why this Hinderer?: I use it. Not afraid to cut what needs cutting. If it gets a scuff, so be it. If I dull the blade I'll sharpen it.

spanto 3.5 non flipper. Stonewashed. Black Frag scales ;-) perfection.......

Flipper, Slicer, 3.5" w/ a Tan scale... If I can find a Tan scale I'll be set... Anybody have a Tan scale?

I'll play! XM-18 3.5" flipper with Spanto blade and stonewashed all around. Black g-10 scale. :D

i have handled a 3.5" spanto non flipper and a 3.5" slicer flipper

for EDC tasks, I MUCH prefer the slicer flipper. i love how it cuts, not afraid to cut anything with it, stonewash finish is perfect for a working knife.

i imagine if i handled a XM24 my answer might be different, but i still LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about my Gen 4 3.5" XM18 slicer!

Beautiful Knife! That Blue is striking. A Blue and an Orange would be a Great Pair!

XM-24, spanto, stonewashed flipper with carbon fiber scales. A man can dream...

Per your options, 3.5" flipper, textured cf scale. To be more specific, the Zurich SWAT Team edition.

^^^ now your just showing off :)

If I could only have one production model hinderer, it would definitely be a 3.5 with stonewashed finish. Probably slicer grind. Textured Ti Scale... Or orange if thats out of the question...

Being I am new to the Hinderer knife world & have been starting to take an interest in the XM lineup it would pobably be a XM-18 with 3.5 (flipper most likely) & in CF scales or G10 in black.
