Out of these, which would you like to have if you could just have ONE?

Machete (any length)
Bow legged chopper
Competition cutter
Camp knife

For me, I love my 12" machete. Seems to be the right length, weight, thickness to handle all my bush needs.

The competition cutter has my attention, though. :)

Thats an easy question with a big answer. Lots of guys like keeping the prep knife separate from the 'bush' knife. I know many guys with a machete / small carver combo. a big one for the heavy work and a small one for the delicate stuff. Andy's camp knife seems to grab that middle ground where it can hack up your wood for the fire then cut your veggies right after. Can it clear brush as good as a machete? maybe not. Can it carve up steak as good as a thin ladyfinger? maybe not. But it's that 'one knife' solution.

I'd like to eventually get a camp knife from andy. My main camp knife now is a Koster M.U.C.K. in 3V that I just love. but its' definitely on the side of machete instead of carver.

Ah I should clarify, I did not mean just ONE knife for everything. I meant just ONE LARGE knife.

I would have my machete for an all around big knife and a bushfinger for smaller things.

Just one: I´d get a Camp Knife, seems like a good do-all blade. Reasonably long but still nimble enough for the smaller tasks.
I usually carry an 9-10" blade along with a 3-4 inch blade.
For the area tht I live in (arctic) conditions with only smaller trees and brush the 9" is a very good substitute for an axe or hatchet.
The 9" for the rough stuff and the smaller blade for food, precision cuts and game.

I'd really like to get my hands on a camp knife. :)

i think that with my 12" machete teamed up w/ my hiking buddy i could handle most things

Just received my 12" machete in the mail today and I effin loooooove it! I've been unnecessarily harming innocent trees all day! Fun stuff. Now I just gotta get a sheath from Wildmanh when I get the cash as well as a sharpener because I'm sure I'm gonna dull this blade soon because of all my playing with it. I'd love to get more Fiddlebacks but for now, my combo will be a HI 18" kukuri and my fiddleback machete.

I've got a woodland camo duracoated 12" machete coming soon from Andy so I am going to go with that without even trying it because I've yet to see a bad review :)

I do love the 12" machete to be sure, but I like the Camp Knife better. It doesn't have the same reach, but I love the mass. As soon as I get some photos sorted out, I'll show you why I like it so much :)

I have a 12" machete on the way. I struggled with which FF machete to buy and settled on the 12" based on all the positive feedback here, but I have a feeling I'll be getting one of the bigger ones eventually as well.

I'm actually afraid to hear what you have to say and I fear your photos because I know you're going to convince me to buy one! ;)

Hahahaha you guys crack me up! This is taking so long because I want it to be a very special set of pictures :)

Mine is already in the corner in the fetal position. Will post pics when the results of the wallet abuse shows up ;)

Looking forward to your pics from Norway!

I am absolutely not making any Bow Legged Choppers anytime soon, so you can rule that one out for now. The comp cutter may be available at Arizona Custom Knives right now. After that one is gone I generally only make it by request as its kinda a slow seller. You'd need to call. I don't have any cut.

I have a bunch of Camp Knives though. 12" machetes aren't done yet but will be in a week or so. Are you going to try to carry this knife? If so the machete is much more carryable.
