My choice would be the Rat-7. I like the design and simple but sturdy construction. The handle material is also good.

Rat-7 I like the micarta handle construction and sheath design.

I looked at the Rat7 at a gun show last weekend. I really like it. Pretty well made. Cold steel is out, I hate those rubber handles that are just held on with one steel eyelet. Plus the carbon steel is going to rust inside the handle. I haven't had my hands on a Becker knife in a few years so I can't speculate on that one.

I'm waiting for someone to say they would pay the extra money for a Swamp rat or Busse
