If you could only have one .... Which one would it be?

So if you we're stuck with the decision to take only one becker which would you choose and why? For me I'd take my bk9 that I have sharpened with the work sharp so it's convexed and chops even better and slices like a mora. A close second is the bk 2.

I'm always torn on this one. A BK9, 10 or a 4. Any of them would be just as good really, but the chopping edge goes to the 9/4.

I would grab my BK9 and slice whatever magical fairy or leprechaun or whatever cast that dang one knife spell in half and then I would grab my BK16 and my leatherman ST300 and be on my way.

Nothing kills magical creatures like a BK9. You can't not have a BK9. Cut a unicorn's head clean off with one swing from my BK9 on time. The taxidermist was bewildered but that sucker is on my wall. Unicorn meat is even better when killed and butchered by a BK9.

I'll offer the dissenting opinion.
Last year, I had only one Becker to bring camping. So I brought a War Dog, a RatManDu, a Buck Woodsman, an Estwing Camp Axe and the FPR BK16.
After trying each a bit, I wound up using the 16 for everything - food prep, splitting, kindling, whittling - and never felt under (or over!) -knifed. It even split firewood better than the axe.
I'd probably feel the same way about my 7, but 16 is my go-to.

I didn't have any unicorns to kill...

Yep TJ, I'm with ya. Although my choice would be the 15, I would deffinately choose a tweener over the larger beckers.

I'd pick my 2 since I have a mini Gerber multi tool in the pouch on my sheath, along with a bunch of other goodies.

An RBK so I can behead all you one knife carriers and add your Beckers to to my treasure hoard.

I'd bring my 9, since it comes with the 13 and all the other stuff in the pocket. Also don't have a whole lotta Becker choices anyway (9 & 2) so that makes choosing that much easier. I really pity you people with all your choices......;). Plus, we have unicorns all over the place here.

To me and its not even close would be the BK7. It's my heavy use knife every time. Love the others but it is so quick in the hand, chops like a champ, batons way better than the 2, more robust pieces of wood cause of the length and does the small chores better than the 2 or the 9. The machax is awesome too but the 7 is my most used becker by far.

You did not say which knife, you said which Becker....So with that said I would take Ethan....Thats the Becker that can do it all:D

In that case I'm going to rename my K5 "Becker" and load it up with knives and guns and ammo and beer and chicks and beer and bacon and whiskey and bacon and bacon and bacon and carrots. And by "carrots" I mean "bacon".

I think my 14 would suffice. I take it everywhere anyway and it already is my go to blade for everything (initially). Its only after I realize I might need something bigger that I switch to something else. If I did not have the option to use another blade I think I would be able to figure out a way to use what I have.
