Of these four, I only own the NMFSH, but know that the FBM and NMFBM are already considered Busse classics.

Which is your favorite of the four, if you could only own one? A ridiculous question among HOGs of the round trough, I know ;)

John

I have a CGFBM, NMFBM, and BMe, and the CGFBM gets the most use by far. They are all awesome though, and when I get an ASHBM, I wouldn't be surprised if it moved into the first slot.

But my B11 has probably seen as much as all the rest combined.

If I could only own one of the 4 it would be the ASHBM. If I could only own one period it would be the NMFSH.

BTW I have never owned a FBM so cant really count it in to my opinion.

My choppers consist of a FBM-LE, FFFBM, CGFBM, BWM-LE, BWM-CG, ZTBM, NMFSH, KZ2 sold all the rest. I like the BWM-CG for lite chopping as it just doesn't tire you out at all. But to muscle through something I still gravitate to the FBM-LE. Simply it just can't be beat. Blade geometry, weight distribution and hilt comfort are just top notch. I did like the original run NMFBM at .250" but still went back to the FBM.

I really need to bite the bullet on a FBM one of these days.

I can honestly say I couldn't pick only one to have out of that bunch. this is an impossible question.

They're all Battle Mistresses so as far as I'm concerened they're all only one knife. If that makes sense. :)

After I cleaned house last year... well, let's just say that I DO only have one.

ASHBM. I was never a huge fan of the fusion handles, mostly because of the pointy skull crusher that came with most of them. Pokes me in the side too much.

It is a bit more than that, but I can't really put it into words. The ASHBM just feels right.

ASHBM handles very nice & has way better feel & control than the NMFSH that I sold.

Ive used all besides the new one of which I will have soon enough.
SO far I would go with my satin .27 convex fbm. I feel dirty saying that since my .25 cgfbm is my first born but after using them there is no question.

Dude, I CAN'T have just ONE!!

NMFSH - Check :D
ASHBM - Check :D
NMFBM - NEED!
FBM - Want!

I have two hands after all! :p

I only have these:

NMFSH.
HOGFSH
ASBM
NMFBM.

no point arguing, the best looking is also the best performer, and that is the NMFBM, I am letting go the other ones, because there is no point in keeping them, the NMFBM is way too much knife compared with the other 3. In fact I´m having trouble finding a respectable match for it... I believe a fair contestant would be an Himalayan imports or the 1311.. ( I dont own the 1311 yet)...but hey!... none of the two latter look nearly as good as the NMFBM.

just my two cents.

I know you didn't list it, but the BWM is one of my all time favorites, from a practicality and usability sense... Best looking too IMHO.

Sold all my other large choppers since they were just too much to ever pack.

Only have the NMFSH so far, but have a custom shop NMFBM on order. Will likely order a ASHBM too before it's all over.

That is like Sophie's choice please don't do that it hurts my head.
Just get the one available from the shop.
