If you could pick your grab bag...

Just suppose for a moment that you could pick what went into your grab bag. What would it be? Just thought it would be interesting to see what people would pick if they could build their perfect grab bag. My $500 bag would be...

Hognose War Sword
Boss Jack Battle Grade
Trail Scalpel Battle Grade
None of them with premium (+$) handles or finishes.

The HWS and BJBG were my big regrets not picking up last time and the Trail Scalpel is about the right price to fill out the bag for total value.

Please try to keep it to blades we're likely to actually see in the bags like (especially later) O2W offerings, current or recently discontinued offerings (like the KDSH for instance) or something you suspect might be likely to actually show up. Also, try to keep the total value of included items as close as possible to the $350/$800 minimums. I doubt any of us are getting a $500 bag with $2500 worth of long discontinued blades. I'd love to see a big ol' box of HG55's, SARsquaches and NMFBM'S show up on my step, but we all know that's pretty unlikely.

So what would you pick?

500 Bag:
BG AK47 w/canvas
BATAC w/canvas

250 Bag:
CG Rucki w/canvas

Combined bags (if even an option):
Short Butaniku, CG AK, CG Ruck, Gladius, really any sword.

Edit: Also any military overuns would be awesome.

Someone got 2 $500 bags and got a NMFBM, I think combined bags can get you much more than the standard stuff.
A custom shop run of the mill NMFBM was $780 before shipping before they closed the shop for orders.

Hognose War Sword would be sweet, but I figure I might get something else good that I didn't know I needed. Worse thing that happens is I can trade for a War Sword if I don't get one.

I was under the impression that this time they were just filling $250 and $500 bags in the shop and then the filled bags went to shipping to be boxed up and shipped blind to their contents. As in if you ordered 3 $500 bags, they just take 3 random bags off the $500 bag pile, box them up and ship them to you. It's still going to be $2400+ worth of blades, but you aren't going to get any one thing that exceeds the $800 value of a single bag by very much. That's just how I read it and I could certainly be wrong.

While I'm not getting my hopes up about seeing too many of the blades that have been out of production for a number of years, it's still good to know the NMFBM would be a possibility in the $500 bags. Plus there's always the possibility of another "Anybody know what this is?" BT6 style surprise as well. :)

It would be sweet to get a Rucki in a $250 bag.

On the $500 bag I'd want a TGBG, UGBG, and Rucki.

While I won’t be able to get a grab bag this time, I already got my grail blade in the last round of $500 grab bags. I was blessed to have received a Custom Shop Team Gemini LE.

Very very nice! Lucky dog..hog...shark lol :D

HWS or Infi TG are on my short list, I would be beyond stoked to see either of those. I think I'll be happy to get a random $800 assortment of Busse and Kin.
I got my first ResC in last years $250 bag and realized I was missing out on a lot of great knives.

Mine would be the sort of opposite - mid to large sized satin INFI with interesting handle materials - mammoth or alligator tooth or something like that. Elmax steak knives with interesting handle materials for the relatively low cost ones.
