Don't hold your breath. I sent CRK an email yesterday asking if they'd started selling the Insingo direct, because I'd like to order one with an inlay. This is the response I got..
To say I'm a little disappointed would be an understatement.:grumpy: I guess I don't understand how you can order a regular Sebenza any way you want it, but they can't put inlay scales on an Insingo. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but is the Insingo not just a regular Sebenza with a different grind? From the edge back, the blade should be identical to a regular Sebenza. Why in the world would that affect their ability to slap some micarta inlay scales on one? I don't get it.
Heather @ CRK said:Thank you for your email. Selling the Insingo to the public is a new item for us. We are not yet equipped to enter the variety of combinations on the knife you requested. At this time I am not sure how we will offer it. That being said, I can take your order if you provide me with the information requested in the attached order form, but I dont know when we will (if we do) offer it. Let me know how you want to proceed.
