If you had to give up one knife....

I have an older Cold steel bushman that I believe was made in the USA before they went to China. I got it used and made a kydex sheath for it but I've never used it so I'll probably try to get rid of it someday.
I don't really keep knives that don't get used.

The last one I gave up from my collection was this the black KaBar Dozier in this pic (though I kept the cash - for a while anyway)...

I gave it to someone and replaced it with this one...

I'd do that again in a heartbeat.

Easy. My Kershaw Tanto Blur.

It's not that it's a bad knife, it's just that it's not as capable a knife as the others I've been using lately. I just haven't used it much lately.

I just gave my roommate a Reese framelocked CQC7b... The same one on his website.

Probably my TOPS Skinat. Nice knife, but not that impressed with the performance of it. I'd keep my Mora's before I'd keep that one.

Right at this very moment I have the ESEE line and a Spyderco Manix 2 for my personal collection. If something had to go for whatever reason it would have to be the Manix. Sorry, it would be very painful and I'm sure there would be tears but the Manix for sure. Luckily my knives change often and there's always one leaving and a new one showing up.

Oh geez.. I have several knives I wouldn't care to give up. They are mostly from when I started collecting knives. Cheap knives. You know, those knives that aren't even given their own boxes - they are thrown in a box with several other knives.

a '98 Yellow Case CV Trapper, i just dont like the pattern, wouldnt part with it easily though since it was a gift from my dad...
just really dont care for the trapper

It's odd, but after thinking about it, there are only three knives that I have any real attachment to; anything else I could give up without much grief, and could be easily replaced.

SOG Flash II. It was one of my first purchases after I got into collecting. I liked the blade shape and figured I'd give SOG a try to see if the negative things that are said about them are true. They are: huge amount of blade play even when the pivot is fully tightened, poor ergos, awkward Axis-wannabe lock, etc. I have that thing boxed away separately so I don't have to look at it anymore. :p

I wanted a big chopper and this was before I knew quality knives like Busse and Bark River. And that big TAIWAN stamp on the blade has always been an eye sore. So I'd really like to get money back on that one.

Spyderco Meadowlark 2 FRN. Shouldve not bought it and put the money for a persistence (or the upcoming ambitious) instead.

Any one of the knives my Mother-in-Law has ever gotten me. They are made out of recycled soup cans and can cut around corners!

I'm actually debating if I should get rid of my AK-47 bayonet. I need to purchase an engagement ring and I can't see the benefit of keeping this knife as a reminder of a past life that my fiance doesn't like anyway.
