If you had too.... A hypothetical question.

If you had to buy and carry a knife from walmart for one year, which would it be? I would choose the buck stockman, or buck 110.

I'm not sure what they have at Walmart other than the 110, so I would go with that. A guy could get through the day just fine with a 110 on his belt.

Interesting idea...I'd probably go with some sort of Kershaw they usually have (Skyline, Needs Work, Blur, etc.).

They tend to carry a fair number of inexpensive options from Kershaw, so I'd probably go for something like the Compound or Tremor.

it would be a toss up between the sage 3 and a gayle bradley. now if ordering from the website is out i think they carry spyderco natives in stores.

My WalMart has the Kershaw Blur, Leek, and Needs Work. Along with the Buck 110. Such a hard choice, but I'd be happy with any of those...

Buck 110 would have to be my choice though.

I haven't shopped in a WalMart for many years.....last time I stepped in one they started to sell the Spyderco Native.

Probably one of the Kershaws. I've never owned a Kershaw, however.

If not that, then a Victorinox Spartan or whatever the best model they actually sell is.

If I had to limit myself to one knife it would be the Skyline, the 110 is a bit much to carry in my pocket in the office. If Walmart carried the 55, I'd carry that.

Not much of a selection at the Walmarts around here. I did see a Blur once so I guess that would be my choice.

Walmarts around here are a bit limited in terms of knife selection, but can't really beat a classic for EDC. Buck 110 all the way. It's a bit large, but will certainly do the job. Then again, I carried around an Opinel No.8 for much longer than that.
