Does it matter what size folder blade you carry. I live in FL and the laws are very vague.

Nope, if you have your CWP in FL you can carry any knife you want openly or concealed under FL law. They give you informational packets with your CWP that tell you what the permit does or doesn't allow you to carry. The only exception regarding concealed knives (under FL CWP law) is "ballistic self propelled" knives where the blade is a projectile and does not remain attached to the handle.

The very first part of the CWP law:

1) The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is authorized to issue licenses to carry concealed weapons or concealed firearms to persons qualified as provided in this section. Each such license must bear a color photograph of the licensee. For the purposes of this section, concealed weapons or concealed firearms are defined as a handgun, electronic weapon or device, tear gas gun, knife, or billie, but the term does not include a machine gun as defined in s. 790.001(9).

County or city ordinances may vary, but with your CWP they still shouldn't present a problem as long as you don't make yourself a problem for the police.

This is correct. The only knife that is considered illegal in Florida is a balistic knife, where the blade is detached and propelled from the knife. The only other weapon not allowed is a taser where the darts or projectiles separate from the gun, attached or not, by wires.

Floridas Weapons License covers all other weapons, including guns. You can carry a baseball bat with rusty nails sticking out, as long as you conceal it.

You can most certainly carry a stun gun that fires projectiles in FL with a CWP..

Open carry of most weapons in FL is legal.. no need to conceal a baseball bat.. nails or not.
