Recently I was introduced to the work of a very nice young knifemaker who currently works for Chris Reeve knives. Matthew Otto is lead grinder for CR and is trying his hand at making his own blades. I'm more of a folding knife man myself, but I think his work looks great. He's listed some knives for sale on a certain auction site that will remain nameless here. I don't have any horse in the race, so this is just an FYI if anyone would like to take a look.

This older BF thread popped up out of google (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=598992). Interesting looking knife, I reckon you can see the Reeve heritage pretty clearly. It looks like a fixed folder! Must be the deep hollow grind. Undeniably nice work though.

Deep hollow grind really ties in the heritage.

Very nice looking knife, I love the wood on that.
