Just got this pic back from Peter R. I asked him to handle a Damascus blank that I got from Alabama Damascus and this is what he did with it. WOW!!

Unbelievable!! I'll be staring at this pic until I get the knife in my hand. Awesome work!

Either its been welded to regular bar stock for economic reasons, or the damascus has been polished but not etched?

the steel was blued but i sanded it off while adjusting the handles.
