Here's a clip that i designed that screws onto a Kershaw Ram. . .

The way this thing works is when you squeeze the end of the clip the tip lifts up over the pants lip, letting the knife slide into your pocket easily. And when you release the end the clip grips the pocket for a secure carry. Then when the knife comes out you again squeeze the end of the clip, reliefing the tension and the knife comes right out. . .

Sorry to go off topic but I have a quick question about your lock mechanism.

The 'locking pin' that slides back and forth has a V-notch in it. Is it ramped to allow for wear when locked open? Didn't know if as the lock interface wore, if it was ramped to allow the lock to take up any 'slack' caused by minute amounts of wear.

Hope that makes since? And sorry to go off topic in your thread.
 
I don't mind going off topic. . .and it's still kinda on topic :D

Yes the lock is a ramped. . . as the lock face wears the lock plate advances forward to ensure a tight lock up.
