Just like the title says is it your new edc? Ive had mine about 2 weeks and I just

cant stop carrying it. I love the flipper, the look of the blade and handle,

and I dont mind the clip.:D

I take the knife out of my pocket by putting my rt.thumb in the pocket, put

middle finger on the bottom of the knife(on outside of pocket) and push up. I

dont use the clip at all to take it out. Very Easy.

Try this for your other low ride clips too.

Well I do not know where the short reply I just put on went but I googled volt knife and it gave me your Kerahaw Volt. Good steel nice looking knife, but I am with the other guy to big for my EDC needs.

It is a little large, but it carries very easily. I change my carry based on where ill be that day, the volt is actually my office carry because of the unsuspecting clip.

I really like this blade, a shame it isn't a standard production model, I think it'd sell really well.

Hi clockman -

I have been carrying my Volt since I got it - it has displaced my Acies (temporarily) while I get the Volt worked in.

The lock has been very sticky, as I have come to expect from a new titanium frame-lock.

It is much better after a few hundred cycles.

I will go back to my Acies, it is just more enjoyable from a "hands-on" perspective.

I love the Volt though, very nicely made and a knife that I am proud to carry and show to others.

I used the Volt this evening to sharpen a "throwing stick" for my youngest granddaughter.

I am so far very impressed with the edge holding ability of the M390.

best regards -

The Volt is a BIG OLE' KNIFE, but it carries really well, especially with that low profile clip. It's really bigger then anything I need on an EDC basis, but that's never stopped me from carrying a larger knife before. I doubt it will see much carry time during the summer though. I generally wear cargo shorts during the summer and I have other knives that carry in those types of pants better.

To be honest I haven't carried mine out of the house yet because its just a tiny bit too big for me to EDC. I have however opened and closed it more times than is probably healthy. ;)

I have been carrying mine and I really like it so far. it does have a tendency to work its way out of my pocket while sitting and comes pretty close to becoming unclipped. It has not come out yet but I find myself constantly reaching for it to make sure its still there.

I carried it for a week, and its spot in my edc rotation is safe.

It’s a very nice knife, good size, good ergo’s, decent clip, good blade shape, great steel, cool design, fantastic quality all under $200.

I may be missing something but that is not what the title says or emplies. I had to google Volt, then add knife to even know what knife you were talking about. Since I already replied I will keep this short. I think you should include the whole name of a knife and maker in you topics.

Edit to say: It clearly says to Volt owners in the title. Unless it was changed since I saw it the first time. My Bad. But I still think you should give more info of the knife in question when making a post. I am sure there are many like me that have inquisitive minds and just want to know and learn.

Kind Regards,
Daniel

I too have have had mine about 2 weeks & have carried it non stop. Great knife, perfect size for me & it carries great for as large as it is. It really disappears in your pocket.
Break has taken some time & a little messing with the pivot, but it is flippin smoother the more I use it. The Volt is really a great value for what you get.

I have been EDC it since I got my Volt! It serves its purpose. It's not a short knife but neither a long one. Its weight and the slim profile makes it an easy EDC blade. Hardly feels it in my back pocket.

I think the Volt looks awesome, but it's way too big for EDC by my standards. I normally carry a Spyderco Cat. My Sage I is on the outer limits of what I consider EDC-able.

Same here for such a long blade i forget its even in my pocket most of the time.

Volt on a knife forum can pretty much only refer to the Kershaw Volt.... if you were to search bladeforums for the word "volt" all would be revealed :)

Mine has been. I generally shy away from big knives for EDC, but I don't know, I guess it just doesn't seem that big. It doesn't carry that way. The flipper is amazing, no wrist action required whatsoever. Edge retention seems very good thus far. The clip has grown on me a lot. I do need to dull the clip a little though, it is pretty sharp. I think this knife is an amazing value. I bought a blem, as I'm not really a collector per se, I'm just fascinated with knives and enjoy using them.

Yes it's my EDC right now, and probably will be till the 2010 Voyager or M-4 Military come out.

Thanks for the pics!

I love that the blade to handle ratio is excellent. I thought I was done buying knives for a while, but it looks like I'll be on the lookout for one of these.

Cool!
